Job
Summary:
The Suite Attendant/Server is responsible for quality
hospitality and customer service. They set up each suite they are assigned to entirely before the event starts. They are
required to communicate with pantry coordinators and food runners to ensure
guests have a great food and beverage experience. The
suite server works with their counterparts
to help maintain food quality and hold times and safety /sanitation standards
of the department. Servers are required to comply with correct food safety,
alcohol safety, and cash handling procedures.
Servers are to assist with any other task requested by Food &
Beverage Management team.
Responsibilities:
·
Ensure
quality hospitality and customer service through daily event notes regarding
food and beverage orders, instructions, and preferences.
·
Direct
any other inquiries (not regarding suites food and beverage) to the correct
entity and/or personnel.
·
Expedite
the communication of particular food and
beverage requests and guest-related issues to the appropriate entities.
·
Assist
with hosting and meeting suite holders, potential holders, and guests at events
hosted within/on behalf of the venue.
·
Support
the premium operations team as needed.
·
Other
tasks as assigned by members of the Management Team.
·
Greeting
guests as they arrive and take their
order when ready.
·
Verify
all pre-orders, day of event orders, and beverage restocks are completed in
full.
·
Ensure
proper billing and check to close out through the daily event notes and if
needed with a pantry coordinator, supervisor, or manager
·
Ensure proper suite setup in regards to food, beverage, and accouterments.
·
Properly
clean the suite and discard/return appropriate food and beverage product.
·
Help
monitor and maintain safe alcohol policies and procedures.
·
Be
visible and ready to assist guests as needed
·
Have
full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
·
Be
comfortable with the arena and know how to navigate personally, as well as,
assist guests.
·
Deliver
guests orders timely and to correct location.
·
Support
any other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
·
Other
tasks as assigned by supervisors and/ or
managers.
·
Help
maintain and ensure excellent customer service
·
Work
with counterparts of operation to ensure
event standards of service are reached.
Qualifications:
·
High
school diploma, GED or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not
required.
·
At
least one year experience in a service role
with a food and beverage background preferred.
·
Proven
customer service skills.
·
Candidate
will be proficient in Microsoft Word applications
·
Possess
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·
Ability
to multi-task
·
Strong
attention to detail
·
Exceptional
organization and prioritization is a must.
·
Phone
system experience, reception work preferred.
·
Schedule
Flexibility, Hours are subject to change each week. Work days are scheduled
based on games, concerts, and other shows
- Must be able to work in an
environment with fluctuating temperatures.
Physical
Demands:
Ability to endure hourly shifts standing, walking, without sitting. Be able to
lift up to 50 pounds. Mobility and endurance. Comfortable with raised volume and/ or dark lighting in specific event
settings.
