Weatherization Coordinator – Energy and Environmental Health Services

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Energy and Environmental Health Services Weatherization Coordinator is responsible for the successful delivery of Isles Weatherization Services.  The Weatherization Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination of weatherization staff and maintaining a process for successful delivery of energy efficiency services to lower income families.  The EEHS Weatherization Coordinator ensures proper documentation for customers, timely preparation and submission of invoices to state/federal/local funding sources, maintenance of all customer folders and providing customer service to applicants.  This position will work closely with the Energy and Environmental Health Services Manager, Lead & Healthy Homes Evaluators / Case Managers, Lead Construction Managers and other staff engaged in weatherization and lead services.  This position interfaces with a variety of organizational personnel, customers, community-based organizations and the general public.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

v  Coordinates Weatherization Staff daily schedules and workflows.

v  Coordinates intake and final verification of documents for weatherization programs.

v  Coordinates customer folders moving from intake status to Weatherization work.

v  Coordinates with Weatherization Field Staff upon completion of units and prepares for invoicing.

v  Manage Weatherization invoices for payment.

v  Document Weatherization completed units in State database (HESWAP).

v  Works with EEHS Manager and Grants/Financial Coordinator to submit timely FSRs to grant agencies.

v  Communicate with customers, vendors, community-based agencies and others as needed.

v  Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

v  Assist with outreach activities.

v  Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

v  BA and/or 2 years of equivalent work experience in lead, energy, healthy homes or similar fields

v  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

v  Experience with online data collection systems and ability to enter data accurately

v  Ability to learn new software quickly and effectively

v  Attention to detail

v  Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

v  A flexible schedule

 

Preferred, But Not Required

v  Spanish language proficiency

v  Knowledge of energy efficiency programs

v  Experience with HESWAP and SAGE systems

Position Details: Exempt, 40 hour/week position, flexible schedule.  Salary range: $55,000-$62,000
