Key Focus and learning:
• Coordinate design, layout, and distribution of all marketing pieces including advertisements, program flyers, and brochures
• The process of creating a marketing plan including public skating strategy and building-wide marketing methods
• Research alternative marketing methods, especially social networking, and blogging sites
• Help and learn how to maintain a professional contact database
• How to monitor and report on in-house marketing efforts
• Help manage all aspects of our email marketing campaigns including assisting with the design, organizing information to be included with department heads and maintaining an efficient distribution schedule
• Learn how to coordinate, plan and have collateral printed and distributed.
• Assist the Manager in managing social media platforms
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong Graphic Design Skills
• Ability to communicate both outsides efficiently and throughout the organization
• Someone who expects highest quality performance from self and others
• Ability to build relationships, work and contribute in a team-based environment and deliver excellence in client service
• Ability to work extended or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop.
• Flexible schedule required. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
