currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Accountant
to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX.
As a
Portfolio Accountant at Presidium, you will play a vital role in managing the
accounting functions for a designated portfolio of properties. This includes
preparing accurate and timely financial reports, supporting budgeting
processes, and collaborating across departments to ensure the financial
integrity of each asset.

accounting department at Presidium provides comprehensive support to our
corporate and property operations, ownership entities, and redevelopment

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare,
review and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and
annual basis
- Assist in
the preparation of annual budgets and provide analysis of financial data
- Perform monthly
bank reconciliations
- Prepare and
input journal entries into accounting software system
- Prepare tax
work papers for external tax consultants
- Prepare
quarterly investor reports
- Collaborate
regularly with multiple departments, including A/P, A/R, Operations, and
Construction
- Analyze
general ledger accounts for inconsistencies or material misstatements
- Manage
month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Analyze and
allocate costs appropriately
- Effectively
manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Contributes
to a positive company culture as a collaborative and supportive team
player
- Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of property accounting experience, preferably in multifamily real estate or portfolio accounting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with Yardi and/or Entrata.
- Proficient in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
